Simply put, it's everyone’s responsibility to challenge norms, minimize waste, reduce global emissions, and clean up our supply chains. By deploying circular practices – curtailing waste by reusing wood packing and pallets and reducing water wastage through our on-site water treatment plant – we're in the business of making a change in line with ISO 14001:2015 standards.
Our CO2 Intensity (per unit of sales) was reduced by 75.3 2024 vs 2021. Our target is to reduce CO2 intensity in 50% by 2025. 1
1. In 2021, International Metals de Mexico SA de CV reported 34 units of Scope 1 emissions and 226 units of Scope 2 emissions. By 2024, Scope 1 emissions increased to 77 units, while Scope 2 emissions were reduced to zero.
